What a bitch!

So, for those of you who haven't heard yet, Caity and I are the proud new parents of a 4.5 month old Lab/Doberman mix named Lily.

I've learned that trying to train/housebreak such a young puppy is pretty much one of the most frustrating things that I have ever had to do, but she's starting to come along. Plus, when she's not going to the bathroom in the house or chewing on everything she can get her mouth around, she can pretty freakin' entertaining. An example of this can be seen below, as Lily is acting as the monster underneath our bed.

Time for a change (and Florence, too!)...

So, I used to have a different blog that I was hosting on my own personal web server running Wordpress. The problem is, I never have the time to keep up with maintaining that server, so who knows what all holes are present on it right now. Since I'm all about Google and what they have to offer, I decided to just create a Blogger account for myself, since my posts are so far and few between anyways. So far I'm pleased with it.

I'm starting this blog the same way I started my previous one...with Florence. Florence left a message on our answering machine a while back which was definitely not intended for us, but for a mysterious person named Brian (who it appears may be some type of maintenance person?). Well, a few months after the original message left by Florence, we got a second one. Again, she references Brian, but this time identifies herself as "you know who", which is just great. So, to christen my new Blogger thingy, I'm including in this post the original message left by Florence, as well as the second one we got months later. Enjoy!
